Terms of Service — Holiday Countdown & Days Off

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Holiday Countdown & Days Off application ("the App"), published by Cleoda Labs.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Holiday Countdown & Days Off shows you how long is left until the holidays and days off you add, keeps your preparation and packing lists, lets you set your own background photo, and can show the countdown in a widget on your home screen and lock screen. It works on your device, without a network connection and without an account.

3. Your Content

The photo, dates, and list items you add remain entirely yours. They are stored on your device and we never see them, receive them, or make any use of them. You are responsible for having the right to use any photo you add to the App.

The App is a countdown, not a backup service. Because your content is stored only on your device, deleting the App, losing the device, or restoring it without a backup will remove that content permanently. We cannot recover it for you. Keep your own copy of any photo that matters to you.

The dates you count down to are the ones you enter. Confirming your actual leave with your employer, and checking any official public holiday dates for your country, remains your responsibility.

4. In-App Purchases

The App is free to download and the countdown itself is free. A single one-time purchase unlocks the additional features listed on the purchase screen. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The purchase is processed through Apple's App Store and is subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law
• Refund requests should be directed to Apple through their standard refund process
• You can restore a previous purchase on a new device using the Apple Account you bought it with
• Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may vary by region

5. Notifications

Reminders are local notifications, scheduled by your device, and are entirely optional. You can enable or disable them at any time from your device settings. We do not guarantee the exact delivery time of a notification, as this is controlled by your device's operating system.

6. Widgets

The home screen and lock screen widgets are provided as a convenience. How often they refresh is decided by your device's operating system, which may delay updates to save battery. We do not guarantee that a widget will always show the very latest value.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to graphics, design, text, and code, is the property of Cleoda Labs and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This does not apply to the photos and details you add, which remain yours.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify or create derivative works based on the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the App

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cleoda Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including the loss of content stored on your device.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not affect the mandatory protections given to you by the law of the country where you live.
